A collection of images of people looking at art.
"One of the risks of appearing in public is the likelihood of being photographed"
— Diane Arbus
In Observing the Observers, the act of looking becomes the artwork. This series captures people in the intimate moment of viewing art — their stances, expressions, and silences forming an unspoken dialogue between the viewer and the viewed. By turning the lens away from the art itself and toward those who engage with it, the project reveals how deeply personal and performative the experience of seeing can be.
Each image is a quiet study of attention and presence, blurring the boundaries between audience and subject. The gallery becomes both stage and mirror, reflecting the vulnerability of observation itself — a reminder that in watching, we too are seen.
